Rail Anchor Application Guidelines
1. Rail anchors should be positioned on the gage side of the rail base, against the same tie face on opposite rails.
2. Ensure that rail anchors securely and firmly hold the rail base, providing full bearing against the rail tie face.
3. When the bearing of the rail anchor against the tie has been disturbed, use a new rail anchor and rail tie.
4. Avoid moving anchors by driving them along the rail.
5. Keep the rail ties straightened during the application of anchors.
