2 Types of Rail Spikes : Dog Spike and screw spike
Rail spike, one of the products of GNEE RAIL Rail Fasteners, is used to connect the steel rail with rail sleeper or bind the rail plate and rail sleeper together.
Road spikes can generally be divided into two types: dog spikes and screw spikes.

dog spike
Dog Spike, also called hook spike or Common Spike, mainly used to connect the steel rail or rail plate with the rail sleeper. The cross section of each side is 16mm, and length is 165mm. The surface of the rod should be smooth and bright, flying edge shall not be more than 2mm. There shall be no crack in the joint of the head and the rod. The cutting edge shall not have burr and folding.

screw spike
The screw spike is a specialized fastener designed to connect steel rails to concrete sleepers, featuring a rod with a screw at the lower part and a bolt at the upper part. During installation, the rod is secured into the pre-drilled hole in the concrete sleeper, while the upper bolts are used to fix the gusset plate or elastic components. This design ensures a robust connection while accommodating specific track requirements.
