Railway spikes are large metal fasteners used to fix rails and sleepers. Their core function is to maintain the stability of the track gauge and resist the lateral force of the train during operation. Unlike traditional nails, the spikes use a unique offset head design and a flat chisel tip, which enables them to be nailed obliquely into wooden or concrete sleepers to form a mechanical locking structure. According to the American Railway Engineering Association (AREMA) standard, a typical spike must withstand a yield strength of at least 46,000 psi to ensure that no plastic deformation occurs under long-term vibration conditions.
In the track system, the spikes do not provide vertical pressure (mainly borne by the rail pad), but through the dual mechanism of friction fixation and lateral restraint, allowing the rails to move limitedly during thermal expansion and contraction, while preventing the track gauge from widening. Modern spikes are mostly made of medium-high carbon steel (such as Q235 or 45# steel), and the hardness is improved through heat treatment, so that they can still maintain a service life of more than 20 years in harsh environments such as moisture and salt spray.

Put the spikes directly into the container without making small packages
Advantages: Save packaging costs, suitable for large-volume orders
Disadvantages: Loading and unloading is troublesome, and the buyer needs to have the ability to handle it
