Products Description
The manufacturing process of railway spikes is delicate and rigorous. The first step is the forging of raw materials. Through high temperature heating and strong forging, the internal structure of the steel is made denser and its mechanical properties are enhanced.
The forged spike blanks also need heat treatment, such as quenching and tempering. Quenching can improve the hardness and wear resistance of the spikes, while tempering can eliminate the internal stress generated by quenching and improve the toughness of the spikes, so that it can achieve the best balance between hardness and toughness.
