Railway Sleepers

Railway Sleepers

Sleepers, also known as railroad sleepers or road sleepers, are a component of railway tracks. They are directly attached to the bottom of the rails and stabilize the rails, preventing them from shifting and causing danger when passing trains. They also distribute the pressure generated by passing trains evenly across the ballast, ensuring more stable train travel.
