Track bolts, also called fang bolts or rail anchor bolts, are used to fix steel rails and rail chairs to rail tie plates, or to fasten rail joints to link rails. In most cases, when building a new railway system, the track anchors are made of concrete instead of traditional wood.

Application of Railway Fish Bolts
In order to fix the track to the concrete anchor, the track must be fixed into the concrete by using mounting brackets that hold the rails of the track in place. Before installing the rail on the mounting bracket, the mounting bracket must be anchored to the concrete. This is done by using dedicated track bolts
