Application Standards For Railway Bolts：
According to basic rules and rail standards, each rail joint needs to be bolted, where at least two bolts in each rail are tightened to produce a torque of about 400 foot-pounds.
-The bolts used must be of the right size and tightened in place.
-The bolts must be installed with AREMA spring washers and the nuts must be installed on the spring washers.
