Products Description
The manufacture of Heavy Steel Rail is a precise and complex process. First, raw materials such as iron ore are smelted into qualified steel billets through a steelmaking furnace. This process requires extremely high chemical composition and purity of the molten steel. Subsequently, the steel billets enter the rolling process. Under high temperature, they undergo multiple rolling deformations to gradually form a specific cross-sectional shape of the rails.
After rolling, the Heavy Steel Rail need to be heat treated, such as the full-length quenching process, which heats and rapidly cools the surface of the rail head to give the rail head high hardness and good wear resistance while maintaining the toughness of the rail waist and rail bottom. Finally, they must undergo strict quality inspections, including dimensional measurement, surface quality inspection, internal flaw detection, etc., to ensure that each rail meets relevant standards and technical requirements.
