Rail clip, or called elastic rail clip, is used to fasten steel rails to the underlying tie plate. Through bending and distortion, rail clip can put pressure on the rail, which prevents longitudinal movement of the rail, either from changes in temperature or through vibration. In general, rail clips are made of forged spring steel produced by hot forging process.
It is generally used with other rail fasteners, such as rail spike, tie plate, rail pad, etc. Rail clip functions well and it is regarded as the most useful fasteners which can secure that the rails don't move, bend, or warp. The special structure of the elastic rail clip makes it absorb the impact and shake the when the vehicles pass by.

Fast Clip
The fast clip is designed with a captive system. This product is specially offered for the mechanized track renewals requiring automated clipping machines or hand tools.
