It is necessary to ensure that the road spikes are installed outside the markings. The connection force between the markings themselves and the ground is limited. If the road spikes are placed on them, the impact force they bear will directly act on the markings, which may cause the road spikes and the markings to fall off at the same time.The installation location must be flat. Uneven ground will cause uneven force on the road spikes, and the road spikes may break when large-tonnage vehicles pass by.

The ground needs to be cleaned before installation. The close combination of the road spikes, the ground, and the glue is the key to ensuring their firmness. Dust will reduce the bonding force of the glue, resulting in poor bonding of the road spikes.
The amount of glue should be moderate. Insufficient application will affect the firmness and life of the road stud, while excessive application may contaminate the reflective sheet of the road stud and affect its reflective effect.

The glue needs to be applied evenly. Uneven application of glue will cause uneven force on the road stud, which may cause it to be crushed.Pay attention to the mixing environment of epoxy resin glue. In winter, the glue is not easy to stir evenly at low temperatures, and it needs to be heated and softened before use.

Hold the road stud correctly. To avoid glue contaminating the reflective sheet, hold the part without reflective sheet when holding it.
For cast aluminum foot road studs, ensure that the installation holes are appropriate. Too shallow or too fine holes will affect the full contact between the road stud and the ground, thereby reducing the firmness of the bonding.

After installation, wait for enough time for the glue to cure. The recommended curing time is 4 hours. Premature evacuation of the installation isolation facilities may cause the road stud to deform or fall off under the impact of the vehicle.

It is crucial to place and install safety isolation facilities. It is not only related to the safety of construction, but also affects the installation quality of the road studs. During the entire construction period, all personnel should work in safety facilities, whether on newly built roads or roads that have been opened to traffic. For roads that have been opened to traffic, the ratio of safety personnel to installation personnel should be 1:1; while for sections that have not been opened to traffic, this ratio should be adjusted to 1:3 to ensure construction safety.
