A 3V screw spike is a type of rail screw spike that is a medium or large metal screw with a threaded nail rod surface and a head with a square or rectangular section. 3V screw spike is also known as a 3V sleeper screw. It is used to fasten rails and sleepers in railways. 3V screw spikes meet the requirements of NF F50-006. 3V screw spikes have two grades, grade 4.6 and grade 5.6.
