Rail anchors are mainly divided into drive-on type and spring type, both made of heat-treated steel .
Drive-on anchors (e.g., Channeloc anchors) are fastened to the rail base and press against the tie edge to prevent rail creep.
Spring anchors (e.g., Trueloc or Unit anchors) use spring force, can be installed manually or mechanically, and are reusable. Each is stamped with rail section and year of manufacture, packed 50 per bag.

Improved Fair Anchor: Drive-on design, T-shaped spring steel, strong grip, large bearing area, eliminates rail flex in frozen ballast. In use since 1906 for heavy-duty railways.
Unit V Anchor: Streamlined shape, deep tie-bearing area, easy to install, high holding power, works with both new and worn rails.
Compression Anchor: Two-way holding power, fewer anchors needed per mile, fits all rail sections, absorbs vertical movement, widely used in main lines, bridges, and welded rails.
