Rail anchors, also called anticreepers, are used in the fastenings system for creep resistance function. They are made of spring steel with elasticity that attach to the underside of the rail baseplate and bear against the sides of the sleepers to prevent longitudinal movement of the rail, either from changes in temperature or through vibration, prolonging the life of rail ties.Rail anchors grisps the steel rail during the train running through the steel rail.
Anchors are made for a specific rail weight and base width, which can be classified into two types: the Drive-on rail anchors and Spring type rail anchor.GNEE RAIL supplies rail anchors that fit various rail section dimensions such as 85LB, 90LB, 115RE, 132RE UIC54, UIC60, 50kg, etc. The products are manufactured based on high standards and have passed the ISO9001 certificate.

For heavy rail tracks such as 50kg, 70lb, 80lb, and 90/91lb, the best option for steel material is 60Si2MnA.
| Type | Material | Weight(g/pc) |
| 50Kg | 60Si2MnA | 800 |
| 70LB | 60Si2MnA | 800 |
| 85LB | 60Si2MnA | 800 |
| 90/91LB | 60Si2MnA | 800 |
Maintenance of Rail Anchors
1.Inspect rail anchors regularly. These inspections should be conducted at least once per year, or more frequently in high-traffic areas.
2.Replace damaged or loose rail anchors. Rail anchors that are no longer snug against the base of the rail should be re-positioned and re-hammered or replaced.
3.Maintain proper torque. Proper torque ensures the rail anchor is snug against the base of the rail and can provide the necessary stability and safety.
