Compared with this type of railway spike, another common type of railway spike can avoid these problems very well, that is, the machine-made railway spike. The production process of this type of railway spike is a combination of manual and mechanical production. The surface of the commonly used machine-made spike is smooth, and the weight of each spike is not much different. The railway spikes produced in this way can be used in batches better, and the problem of high defective rate like ordinary manual spikes will not occur during use.
