  • Surface Engineering Selection: Coating choice determines logistics corrosion protection. Oxide black suits arid/intermodal storage (≤6 months); Dacromet®/zinc flake is specified for maritime transport or coastal inventory (≥18 months storage tolerance) .
  • Dimensional Tolerancing: Procurement drawings must lock leg diameter (Ø16/18/20mm) and free profile. E1609 (Ø16mm) vs E2091 (Ø20mm) are not interchangeable; ordering errors cause shoulder incompatibility
