The Railway Fastclip is a threadless, torsion-spring rail fastening system engineered by Pandrol, distinguished by its innovative "switch-on/switch-off" deployment mechanism that enables tool-free installation through a simple push-and-click action . This system comprises a pre-assembled shoulder unit cast into the concrete sleeper, a resilient clip forged from high-grade spring steel alloy, and a two-part insulator system that separates lateral and vertical electrical isolation functions .

  • Two-Part Insulator Technology: The insulator system is deliberately divided into separate side and top components . This separation allows independent movement in different directions-the rail can rise vertically against the top insulator while lateral loads are managed independently by the side insulator
  • Captive Parked Position: The system incorporates a patented intermediate position where the clip is held securely on the shoulder but does not intrude into the rail seat area .
