HDG railroad threaded spike (HDG stands for Hot-Dip Galvanized) is a type of railroad spike used in railway track systems with a threaded design for fixing railroad tracks to sleepers (sleepers). The main feature of HDG railroad threaded spikes is that they are hot-dip galvanized to improve the corrosion resistance and durability of the spikes, so that they can adapt to harsh environmental conditions.
Hot-dip galvanizing is the process of immersing the railroad spikes in molten zinc to form a thick zinc coating with excellent corrosion resistance. The galvanized layer can effectively prevent the railroad spikes from being eroded by rain, moisture, salt or other corrosive substances, so it is particularly suitable for use in highly corrosive environments such as humid, saline-alkali land, and coastal areas. Hot-dip galvanized railroad spikes not only have anti-corrosion functions, but also increase the wear resistance of the railroad spikes and increase the service life of the railroad spikes.
