Characteristics of Q235 rails
1.Low strength:
The yield strength of Q235 steel is about 235 MPa, which is lower than other heavy rails used for railways (such as 60kg, 75kg, etc.). Therefore, rails of this material are not suitable for high-speed or heavy-load railways, but for light-load or low-speed track systems.
2.Low cost:
Since the production cost of Q235 steel is relatively low, rails made of Q235 steel are also more economical and suitable for some projects with limited budgets or low load requirements.
3.Good processability:
Q235 steel has good weldability, processability and ductility, making the manufacturing process relatively simple and economical. During the construction process, Q235 rails can be easily cut, welded and processed.
