Products Description
Chinese standard railway steel rails have strict requirements for material selection, primarily using high-quality carbon steel or low-alloy steel. To improve the fatigue resistance and wear resistance of the rails, small amounts of alloying elements such as manganese, silicon, and vanadium are often added. Rails need to have high strength, high hardness, and good toughness to withstand the repeated impacts and friction caused by high-speed train operation. At the same time, the rail material must also have good weldability and workability for convenient on-site construction and maintenance.
In terms of performance testing, rails must pass tensile strength tests, impact toughness tests, hardness tests, and flaw detection inspections to ensure their reliability in harsh operating environments. For different application scenarios, different heat treatment processes can also be used, such as induction quenching or rail head hardening, to adapt to special environments such as high-cold, high-temperature, and coastal areas.
