How it works?

• Plastic dowels/sleeves: Plastic dowels or sleeves are cast into the concrete sleepers during manufacturing.

• Screw spike: The railway screw spike, a large metal screw with threads on its shank, is then screwed into these plastic components.

• Securing the rail: The screw spike tightens against a rail base plate or tie plate, firmly securing the rail to the sleeper.
