5 core upgrades! The new generation of rails comprehensively improves service life
In order to better adapt to the higher requirements of modern railway transportation for the performance of rail products, our technical research and development team has systematically optimized the existing rail production process since the end of 2024, and has completed the upgrade of 5 core parameters.
Specifically including: 1) Optimize the carbon-manganese ratio of rails to improve overall strength and toughness;
2) Adjust the cooling rate of heat treatment to reduce the rate of internal stress generation;
3) Strengthen the induction quenching of the rail head to improve the uniformity of the wear-resistant layer;
4) Improve the dimensional stability of the rail bottom to improve the seismic resistance;
5) Upgrade the ultrasonic inspection standard of the weld to ensure the long-term safe operation of the joint.
After the new process was put into production, it not only improved the life of rail products in high-frequency load environments, but also received good feedback in multiple export projects. For example, in the recent rail project exported to Central Asian countries, after multiple evaluations, the wear life of our products was increased by about 18% compared with traditional process products, significantly reducing the customer's subsequent maintenance costs.
