At present, the classification of steel rails produced in China is as follows:

Steel rails can be divided into three types: carbon rails, alloy rails, and heat-treated rails. Carbon rails mainly use two elements, carbon (C) and manganese (Mn), to enhance strength and improve toughness. U 71 Mn,AP1,U74. Alloy steel rails are based on carbon steel rails, with the addition of appropriate amounts of alloying elements such as vanadium (V), titanium (Ti), chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), etc., to improve the strength and toughness of the rails. According to mechanical properties, ordinary rails are divided into three types: ordinary rails, high-strength rails, and wear-resistant rails. Ordinary rails refer to rails with a tensile strength of over 800 MPa, high-strength rails refer to rails with a tensile strength of over 900 MPa, and wear-resistant rails refer to rails with a tensile strength of over 1100 MPa.

According to the length of steel rails: 12.5m, 25m, 75m, and 100m, we currently mainly produce 25m steel rails. At present, the most commonly used orbit in China is U71Mn in P60.
