4.Production process optimization
Under low temperature conditions, the production of 55Q steel rails is prone to fracture problems. By optimizing the cooling rate after rolling, adjusting the chemical composition, and controlling inclusions, the fracture rate can be effectively reduced.
5.Comparison with other steels
Compared with Q235B steel rails, 55Q has a higher carbon content, better hardness and wear resistance, but poorer plasticity and toughness, and a relatively higher price.
