FC1306 – Light Rail & Metro Feeder Lines:
Deployed on secondary passenger corridors and metro depot access tracks. 3 kN clamping force with 7mm minimum spring travel. Used where gauge adjustment requirements (-8mm to +4mm) exceed SKL12 capability .

Captive Fastclip – Automated Track Renewal Trains:
Engineered specifically for high-output mechanized relaying. M-shaped geometry permits insertion perpendicular to rail by automated clipping machines. Eliminates manual clip handling during 1km+ nightly renewal shifts

Maintenance & Operational Perspective

 

  • Mechanized Renewal Rate (Automated Trains):
  • Fastclip systems achieve 800-1200m track renewal per night shift using dedicated clipping machines. Clips are inserted perpendicular to rail at 4-6 second intervals without manual handling. Not achievable with side-insertion clip systems .
  • Manual Replacement Duration (Hand Tools):
  • Single clip replacement requires 3-5 minutes using specialized retraction tools. Clip must be withdrawn perpendicularly to specific release position. Unlike E-Clips, hammer disassembly is not permitted-risk of insulating cap fracture .
