High-Elastic Railway Pad
Rail pads are elastic components installed between rails and sleepers, designed to protect sleeper tops from wear and impact damage.
The initial stiffness of rail pads is intentionally designed to be relatively low, allowing significant relative deformation under the loading from elastic rail clips. This design ensures continuous tight contact between rail pads and rails even during vertical rail movements. Furthermore, rubber or plastic rail pads are specifically employed to dampen vibration impacts generated by passing trains.
