Inspection items and technical standards for national standard rails
In order to ensure the stability and safety of rail quality, the national standard has formulated detailed specifications for rail inspection items. National standard rails must pass the following inspection items before leaving the factory:
1.Dimension inspection: including rail head width, rail height, rail waist thickness, rail bottom width, etc., precise measurement is performed through a special track gauge or laser instrument to ensure that the dimensional tolerance is within the allowable range;
2.Mechanical property testing: such as tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, etc., refer to the corresponding values according to different steel types;
3.Hardness test: Use Brinell hardness tester to detect the surface hardness of rail head;
4.Ultrasonic flaw detection: Detecting whether there are hidden dangers such as pores, inclusions, cracks, etc. inside is the key to ensuring operation safety;
5.Metallographic analysis: Inspect the rail structure to ensure that there are no problems such as overburning and decarburization.
In addition, for exporting national standard rails, third-party inspection (such as SGS, BV, etc.) is required according to customer requirements, and material reports, flaw detection records and other documents are issued. All tests are carried out in compliance with relevant standards such as GB/T11264 and GB/T13237 to ensure that rail products meet technical specifications and project requirements before leaving the factory.
