Pandrol Clip Installation
A variety of different types of heavy-duty clips are used to fasten the rails to the underlying baseplate or Sleeper, one common being the E Type Rail Fastener , which is shaped like a stubby paperclip. Another one is the SKL Tension Clamp, which is also the most widely used type all over the world. Others like KPO Clamp, Nabala Clip and Deenik Clip, also used in different situations.

E rail clip provide positive and durable rail alignment under the harshest working conditions, which extend the life of railway track. Generally, e rail clips are available at the range from 18mm to 23mm diameter. Rail –e clip is usually made of spring steel. As an important type of elastic rail clips, E-rail clip has a lot of sizes, such as E1, E2, E3, E1609, E1809, E1817, E2001, E2006, E2009, E2055, E2056, etc.

Pandrol Clip Installation
Pandrol clip installation involves placing the clip over the rail foot and driving it onto the baseplate/tie, either manually with a sledgehammer or mechanically with specialized Pandrol machinery, ensuring the rail is seated correctly first, using tools like the Panpuller for e-clips, and often stopping when a specific gap (e.g., 3/8") remains between the clip's arch and the baseplate for proper tension. The process varies slightly for different systems (e.g., e-Clip, Fastclip), but always focuses on creating secure, elastic clamping for the rail.

- Positioning: Ensure the rail is fully seated in the baseplate on the tie. For e-clips, the open end (toe) faces the rail foot.
- Starting: Place the clip by hand or with a few taps from a sledgehammer, engaging the clip's arch onto the baseplate lug.
- Driving: Drive the clip until the heel of the clip is aligned with the inner edge of the baseplate (or about 3/8" gap for e-clips), achieving proper tension.
- Tools: Use tools for leverage or specialized hand tools, ensuring full engagement with the clip.
As an OEM & OBM manufacturer, GNEE RAIL is capable of not only producing a wide range of internationally common types of rail clips, such as W Tension Clamp, e-Clip, Fast-Clip, SKL Tension Clamp, Nabla Blade, etc., but also customizing products tailored to our customers' specific requirements.
