What are the classifications of bolts?

There are many places where bolts are used in the rail system. Simply put, they are fasteners, joints, turnouts, and guardrails.
Commonly used railway track bolts can be roughly divided into carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, etc. according to the material classification. Among them, copper bolts are often related to electrical connections. Aluminum bolts are often used in cars and locomotives, and are rarely used on rails.
The classification according to thread type is relatively complicated. According to the position of the thread, it can be divided into internal threads and external threads. For example, the thread on the screw is an external thread (outside), and the thread on the nut is an internal thread.
According to the direction of the thread, it is divided into left-handed threads and right-handed threads. I have to say that most bolts are right-handed threads-tighten clockwise and loosen counterclockwise. This is in line with people's habits and is more convenient to tighten; but some are the opposite, such as some bolts on the rail sawing machine we use, because it needs to be tightened during the rotation of the saw blade, otherwise it is easy to loosen.
GNEE RAIL has a long-term customer base and good reputation in many countries, and its products are widely used in important engineering projects such as national railways, urban rails, and port transportation. We believe that continued high standards are the key to continuously improving brand value.
