What Factors Affect the Quality of E Type Rail Elastic Clip ?
The quality of E-type rail elastic clips is influenced by multiple critical factors, with raw material quality forming the foundation of product performance.
When manufactured using high-quality spring steel 60Si2MnA, its chemical composition must be precisely controlled: carbon content should stabilize between 0.56%-0.64%, silicon content maintained within 1.60%-2.00%, manganese content controlled at 0.60%-0.90%, while strictly limiting harmful elements like phosphorus and sulfur to no more than 0.03%. Any compositional deviation directly affects the material's elastic limit and fatigue strength, consequently shortening the product's service life.

The heat treatment process is the core ensuring clip performance. The quenching temperature must be precisely controlled within the 860-880°C range to form a uniform martensitic structure in the material; the tempering process needs to be conducted in the 460-500°C temperature interval to obtain a tough and strong tempered troostite structure. Temperature uniformity, holding time, and cooling rate throughout the heat treatment process significantly impact the final product's hardness and toughness balance. Any parameter deviation can lead to premature product failure.

Manufacturing precision and surface treatment quality are equally crucial. The clip's geometric dimensions must strictly adhere to design tolerances, particularly the curved surface profile of the clamping area needs to perfectly match the rail foot. Any dimensional deviation will cause uneven stress distribution. Surface treatment processes like hot-dip galvanizing must ensure a zinc coating thickness of no less than 80μm, with a uniform coating free of bare spots, which directly relates to the product's service life in corrosive environments.

By establishing a full-process quality traceability system and implementing strict monitoring at each production stage, GNEE RAIL ensures every E-type clip product meets the most demanding track application requirements.
