What is a bridge crane
The tracks on both sides of the bridge crane are called "main beam track" and "end beam track" respectively.
Bridge crane is a commonly used lifting equipment, mainly composed of bridge frame, crane and electrical equipment. On both sides of the bridge frame, a track will be installed to support the crane to run back and forth at both ends. Among them, the names of the tracks on both sides are "main beam track" and "end beam track".
The main beam track refers to the track distributed on the entire bridge frame and corresponding to the main beam, which is also the main track for the crane to travel. The main beam is located at the top of the entire crane. It is the main load-bearing component of the entire crane bridge and plays the role of supporting the entire crane.
The end beam track refers to the track distributed on the left and right end beams. It is located outside the side of the crane's travel. Its main function is to support and fix the end beam. During use, when the crane passes over the main beam track, it will lift the weight through the hanger, then drive to the end beam track, and then put the weight down. This realizes the operation process of the entire crane.

According to different structural forms and uses, bridge cranes can be divided into many types, such as single-beam bridge cranes, double-beam bridge cranes, universal wheel bridge cranes, etc. Among them, double-beam bridge cranes are the most commonly used in industrial production. They have a large lifting capacity and a wide range of applications, and can meet the lifting needs of various occasions.
During the long-term use of bridge cranes, some faults will also occur. Among them, the more common ones are the following:
1. Mechanical failure: such as tire shedding, loose cable connectors, etc., which can be solved by inspection or replacement of parts;
2. Electrical failure: such as motor damage, line short circuit, etc., require professional electricians to repair;
3. Operational failure: such as driver negligence, misoperation, etc., require corresponding training and supervision.
In short, bridge cranes play a very important role in industrial production. Its two side tracks are the main beam track and the end beam track. During use, we need to pay attention to its maintenance and management, so that it can better play its role.
