Our company carries out the project of optimizing the anti-corrosion performance of rail bolts to extend the service life of products

As an important component in the railway connection system, rail bolts are exposed to the outdoor environment for a long time, and their corrosion resistance directly affects the service life and safety. Recently, our company launched the project of optimizing the anti-corrosion performance of rail bolts, focusing on the process improvement of three treatment methods: electrogalvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing and Dacromet coating.
Through salt spray testing and on-site simulation experiments on samples after different anti-corrosion treatments, the company's technical team has accumulated a lot of data and optimized and adjusted the surface treatment parameters according to the test results. Preliminary results show that the corrosion resistance time of the optimized Dacromet bolts in the salt spray test has increased by more than 30% on average.
The implementation of this project not only improves the adaptability of the company's products in high humidity and high salt environments, but also provides customers with a more cost-effective choice for railway projects in coastal and highly corrosive areas.
