The company launched a rail inventory optimization plan to improve delivery efficiency
In order to improve the response speed and delivery efficiency of rail products, our company recently launched the "Rail Inventory Optimization Plan". The plan aims to improve warehouse turnover through scientific storage and classification management to meet the fast delivery needs of different customers. The first batch of products included in the optimization plan include conventional rails such as P43, U71Mn, and UIC60.
The company's warehousing department re-inventored and labeled the existing rail inventory, and set up a reasonable inventory early warning mechanism based on past order data. For models with short delivery cycles and high demand frequency, the company decided to establish a normalized safety inventory and coordinate with the production department to set up a special storage area to ensure efficient and orderly outbound deployment.
At the same time, the Foreign Trade Department and the Purchasing Department strengthened information sharing to achieve real-time linkage between customer orders and inventory information. Once the order is confirmed, loading and shipment can be quickly arranged to avoid delivery delays caused by temporary production.
Through inventory optimization measures, the company's overall delivery efficiency has been significantly improved, and it has also laid a solid foundation for rapid response to overseas customer needs in the future.
