An E-clip fasteners system assembly generally consists of a rolled steel tie plate, E-series rail clips (such as the e-2055), and screw spikes or bolts. The tie plate distributes the load from the rail to the sleeper while maintaining the correct rail inclination. The E-clip, made of high-quality spring steel, applies continuous pressure to hold the rail foot tightly against the tie plate, reducing rail movement and vibration.

During installation, the tie plate is first positioned, and holes are drilled for the fasteners. Screw spikes are driven to secure the tie plate, followed by the installation of the E-clip. The clip is inserted from the side with the toe resting on the rail foot and driven into position, leaving a precise gap to ensure optimal clamping force. This design allows easy installation, either manually or with mechanical equipment, while maintaining consistency and reliability.
