Products Description
The development of steel rails can be traced back to the late 18th century, when the Industrial Revolution promoted the birth of rail transportation. The earliest "tracks" were made of wood and used for horse-drawn carriages, but they had poor durability and wore out quickly. Later, iron rails gradually replaced wooden rails, improving their load-bearing capacity and service life. In the mid-19th century, with the invention of Bessemer steelmaking technology, steel rails began to be widely used. Compared with iron rails, steel rails have higher strength and toughness, greatly improving the speed and safety of trains.
Since then, with the advancement of metallurgical processes and track design, steel rails have continued to develop in the direction of high strength, long life and low maintenance. The manufacture of modern steel rails has been highly standardized and has a variety of cross-sectional forms to meet the needs of different transportation conditions. From hand forging to modern continuous casting and rolling processes, the development of steel rails reflects the trajectory of railway technology progress and has also promoted the expansion of global transportation networks.

Application Scenario
Ports and docks
Used for short-distance container and cargo transportation, and sometimes also used for crane rails.
Agricultural transportation
Used for transporting agricultural products, fertilizers and other materials in plantations, large farms and other areas.
Tunnel engineering and construction
Used for temporary transportation of construction materials and slag in tunnel excavation, subway construction and other projects.
Light rail transportation system (some areas)
In some light urban rail transportation systems, specially designed light rails may also be used, especially in areas where the bearing capacity of the foundation is required.
