Steel rails play a very important role in China's rail transportation and industrial production, including heavy rails, light rails, and crane rails. The difference between heavy rail and light rail is the weight per unit length of steel rail. Steel rails with a weight greater than 30kg per meter are called heavy rails; Steel rails with a weight of less than 30kg per meter are called light rails, and the standard for implementation is: GB11264-89.

30kg steel rail material
The materials of 30kg track steel mainly include Q235B and 55Q. The steel rails made of 55Q material are mainly used for mining purposes, with high wear resistance and hardness. The main difference between 55Q steel rails and Q235B steel rails is their carbon content, as well as their brittleness, toughness, tensile strength, and impact strength. The steel rails made of 55Q material are mainly used for mining purposes, with high wear resistance and hardness. Q235B steel rails are quite commonly used. For ordinary steel rails, if there are no special requirements for use, Q235 is preferred.
