Elastic rail clip is one of the common railway fasteners in the railway system. In general, elastic rail clip is made of forged spring steel and has many applications. No matter as a part of rail fastening system or as a rail fastener, elastic rail clip is used with other railway track parts, such as railroad spike, rail pad, tie plate and plastic dowel.
E rail clip provide positive and durable rail alignment under the harshest working conditions, which extend the life of railway track. Generally, e rail clips are available at the range from 18mm to 23mm diameter. Rail –e clip is usually made of spring steel. As an important type of elastic rail clips, E-rail clip has a lot of sizes, such as E1, E2, E3, E1609, E1809, E1817, E2001, E2006, E2009, E2055, E2056, etc.

Rail Clip Production Process
How do we produce rail clips?
GNEE RAIL produces the rail clips according the scientific procedures of rail clip production strictly and the specific procedures are as follow:
Raw material: Premium grade spring steel sourced from a reliable and certified long term producer.
Shearing: The spring steel bar has to be sheared as per length required.
Heating: to forging temperature (950-1000 degrees Celsius), but over heating shall be avoided to check decarburization.
Forming: Proper heated bar is transferred to power press for forging.
Hardening: The forged rail clips are transferred to quenching tank. Dimensional accuracy and quench hardness of rail clips are checked before tempering.
Tempering: The rail clips are tempered at about 350 Celsius to achieve appropriate toughness in the spring.
Inspection: The products are then checked thoroughly as per China CRCC and customer required specification and design.
Packing: Clips can be packed in woven bags or upon customer requirement.
