Rail bolts are fasteners used to connect railways or track systems. Their main function is to firmly connect various track components (such as sleepers, rails, cleats, etc.) to form a stable and continuous track surface to ensure smooth and safe train operation.

1. Material selection

In terms of materials, Heishan rail connection bolts are mostly made of high-strength alloy steel or special steel, and their mechanical properties are improved through heat treatment. In order to enhance corrosion resistance, some bolts are galvanized or coated with anti-rust coating.

Some also use stainless steel materials, which are especially suitable for coastal or rainy areas to cope with complex environmental conditions.

2. Manufacturing process

During the manufacturing process, the bolts undergo multiple processes such as forging, heat treatment, and precision machining. Forging can improve the intrinsic structure and performance of the bolts, and heat treatment such as quenching and tempering can improve their hardness and toughness.

The processing link ensures the dimensional accuracy and thread quality of the bolts, and ensures that the nut and the screw fit tightly. The final inspection includes hardness testing, tensile testing, and corrosion testing to ensure that each batch of bolts meets the use requirements.
