Steel rails are known to be an integral part of railway tracks. Steel rail and other railway fasteners support the railway track system, including railway sleepers, rail joints, railroad spike, rail clips, track bolt and nut, etc. The steel rails are always in an inconspicuous place for the train to crush and guide the train.

The DIN 536 crane rails, also known as "A" type rails, follow the DIN 536/1991 specification and are designed to withstand high lateral forces, thanks to their wide base, low center of gravity, and thick web. These characteristics make them suitable for heavy-duty applications in overhead and gantry cranes. The rails are available in profiles from A45 to A150, where the number refers to the width of the rail head in millimeters, and A stands for Type A. It is a left-right symmetrical track.
