What is the rubber pad for railway track?
A rubber pad for a railway track, also called a rail pad or sole plate, is an elastic cushion placed between the steel rail and the sleeper (tie) to absorb shock, dampen vibrations, reduce noise, and protect components from wear and tear, ultimately increasing the lifespan and safety of the track system by distributing loads and preventing direct metal-to-sleeper contact.

Vibration & Shock Absorption: Attenuates dynamic forces from passing trains, preventing them from reaching the sleeper and ballast.
Noise Reduction: Acts as a barrier, significantly lowering the loud clanging sounds of metal wheels on metal rails.
