Application of glued insulating joints

Railway glued insulated joints are a special type of connector, mainly used for insulating joints of insulated track circuits and seamless track turnouts on seamless lines, to meet the needs of separation of track circuit block partitions, and are usually installed at the block partition boundary point or interval of railway signal machines.

The technical standards for railway glued insulated joints mainly include:
All components used for production, including rails, splints, channel steel plates, high-strength bolts, and insulating materials, shall be inspected and qualified.
Splints: Splints are made of 55# steel or other high-quality steel with better performance than 55# steel, and not less than the provisions of TB/T 2345.

Channel steel plates: The thickness of channel steel plates shall not be greater than 2 mm. The steel plates are made of high-quality carbon structural steel sheets or other high-quality steel plates with technical performance not less than 45# by stamping.

High-strength bolts: Bolts shall be high-strength bolts of not less than 10.9S grade. The technical conditions of bolts, large hexagon nuts, and washers shall comply with the provisions of GB/T1231.

Insulating materials: Insulating materials include insulating slot plates, insulating end plates, insulating sleeves and adhesives, and their technical performance should comply with relevant regulations.

Application advantages of railway adhesive insulation joints:

Cost saving: The use of railway adhesive insulation joints can greatly reduce the cost of railway construction and maintenance and improve work efficiency.
Improve safety: The special structure and material properties of railway adhesive insulation joints ensure the safety of railway operation and reduce the occurrence of accidents.
Convenient maintenance: The maintenance and replacement of railway adhesive insulation joints are very convenient and can be carried out quickly without affecting the operation of the railway.
In addition, railway adhesive insulation joints also have the characteristics of high strength, corrosion resistance, moisture resistance and shock resistance, which can meet the various needs of railway construction and maintenance.

Installation requirements of railway adhesive insulation joints:
The distance between the insulation joint and the welding joint shall not be less than 20m.
After installation, the vertical and horizontal misalignment of the joint rail end should not exceed 0.3mm.
Before installation, the resistance of the insulation splint must be checked, and it can only be used if the resistance is greater than 10MΩ.

After the synthetic glue solidifies, the resistance between the rails should be greater than 1000Ω.
Maintenance requirements: For glued insulated joints that have been put into use, the line workshop should perform maintenance according to daily inspections, regular inspections and professional joint inspections to ensure the stability and safety of the joints.
